Multi-channel fulfillment for a Nashville-area CPG brand that sells everywhere its customers are — its own storefront, Amazon, and B2B — picked from one inventory pool in this building, with FBA prep handled in the kitting area. As the brand has grown, the operation has grown with it, one channel at a time.
Fulfillment. Warehousing. Kitting & Assembly.
E-commerce, B2B, D2C, and subscription orders — picked, packed, and shipped from Nashville, TN, at any scale. Parcel orders in by 11 a.m. CT ship the same day, from 80,000 sq ft of temperature-controlled space 0.6 miles off I-24.
Order fulfillment for every channel you sell through.
Most brands don't sell through one channel — they sell through several, and the mix keeps shifting. We fulfill all of it from one building: one inventory pool, one team, everything recorded in the WMS. Nimble enough for a Nashville brand shipping its first hundred orders, built out enough for a national program — and hands-on either way.
E-commerce fulfillment
Storefront orders flow straight into our WMS and onto the floor — parcel in by 11 a.m. CT, shipped the same day. Shopify, WooCommerce, or wherever you sell.
D2C fulfillment
When the box on the doorstep is the brand experience, packing isn't an afterthought. Direct-to-consumer orders are packed to your spec — your packaging, your inserts, your standard — and checked before they seal.
B2B & retail fulfillment
Wholesale and retail orders in case and pallet quantities, including EDI through SPS Commerce — handled from the same building and inventory pool that runs your storefront orders.
Subscription fulfillment
Recurring boxes shipped on your cycle, not ours. And when the box itself needs building — multi-item kits, branded packaging, inserts — that's the kitting area, under the same roof. Kitting & Assembly
Pick and pack, start to finish — how an order moves.
Connected to where you sell.
Shopify, Amazon, Walmart, SPS Commerce, WooCommerce — your channels connect to our WMS, and orders flow in as they're placed.
Selling on Amazon both ways? We fulfill your marketplace orders here, and prep FBA inventory to Amazon's requirements through our FBA Prep services .
And if your operation aggregates orders in its own system, we take them that way too.
Your shipping, your rules.
How an order ships is your call, and clients call it three ways. Some hand us the rulebook — this carrier, this service level, this billing account — and every order goes out exactly to spec, on your own accounts if that's how you run. Some give us a date: lowest cost that delivers by then. And some want the lowest rate, period. The last two are where ShipWise, our TMS, earns its keep — shopping the shipment across USPS, UPS, and FedEx and booking the winner, order by order. When your volume qualifies, USPS Presorted takes postage down further.
Freight moves the same way — LTL and truckload to your spec or shopped, typically picking up the next business day.
Geography does its share in every mode. Middle Tennessee puts your inventory within a day's drive of much of the eastern U.S., and this dock is 0.6 miles from I-24 — fewer zones between your stock and your customers, however they ship.
Returns, handled.
Fulfillment has a reverse leg, and it runs through the same building. Returns come back to our dock, get inspected against your rules, and go where you've decided returned goods go — back into sellable stock, into rework, or set aside for your call. Everything is recorded in the WMS, so your counts stay true.
Your inventory, whenever you want to look.
Everything we hold for you is recorded in the WMS — Excalibur by Camelot — and visible to your team through WebLink View, our client portal: what's on hand, what's arrived, what's moved out. Real time, 24/7, from any browser. No emailing for counts, no waiting on a morning report — and when it's time to reorder, you'll see it coming.
One building. One inventory pool. One team.
Your fulfillment inventory doesn't live across town from your storage or your kitting components — it's all under this roof, recorded in the WMS, handled by the same crew. Bulk storage feeds the pick area without a transfer truck. Kitted goods — subscription boxes, bundles, gift sets — move from the kitting area straight into fulfillment, no second receiving, no gap in the record. See our Warehousing & Storage and Kitting & Assembly services .
The programs we run.
No names here either — verticals and the work, same policy as everywhere on this site.
Order fulfillment for a Nashville apparel brand selling direct to consumer — inventory stored, orders picked and packed to the brand's standard, and shipped so the founders can think about product, not logistics.
Ongoing order fulfillment for a healthcare account where the bar is dependability — orders picked, checked, and out the door on time, month after month, with a team that's easy to reach when something needs an answer.
As a small Nashville-based business, we were looking for a logistics partner that could safely store our inventory and fulfill orders efficiently without the overhead and complexity of a larger provider. Southern Trading Solutions has been exactly that: nimble, responsive, hands-on, and always willing to help when we need access or support. They've become a true extension of our team, giving us confidence that our customers will receive their orders accurately and on time.
Southern Trading Solutions has been a wonderful partner for our e-commerce and Amazon fulfillment needs. They go above and beyond on customer service and have been genuinely flexible as our business has grown — handling everything from kitting and labeling to D2C order fulfillment with care and consistency.
Fulfillment questions, answered.
Do you have an order minimum?
No — no order minimum and no volume commitment. We fulfill at any scale: a brand shipping its first fifty orders a month gets the same team, the same shipping options, and the same care as a national program.
How does the 11 a.m. cutoff work?
Parcel orders in our system by 11 a.m. Central ship the same day; after the cutoff, they're first out the next business day. LTL and truckload orders typically ship the next business day — same-day freight pickup depends on a carrier being designated in time, which isn't always possible. If a pallet has to move today, tell us and we'll give you a straight answer on whether it can.
Can orders ship on our carrier accounts and routing rules?
Yes — specify the carrier, service, and account, and that's exactly how the order ships. Prefer to chase rate? ShipWise shops it across USPS, UPS, and FedEx — lowest cost to your date, or lowest cost outright. Your rules either way.
Which platforms do you integrate with?
Shopify, Amazon, Walmart, SPS Commerce, and WooCommerce. We fulfill Amazon marketplace orders here and prep FBA inventory through our FBA Prep services. And if your operation aggregates orders in its own system, we take them that way too.
Do you handle B2B and retail orders?
Yes — B2B and retail fulfillment, including EDI through SPS Commerce. Retail programs are set up per retailer, so tell us who you ship to and we'll scope the setup.
Do you process returns?
Yes — returns come back to this dock, get inspected against your rules, and are restocked, reworked, or set aside per your instructions, with everything recorded in the WMS so your counts stay true.
Where does our inventory live between orders?
In our 80,000 sq ft temperature-controlled warehouse — recorded in the WMS from receipt and visible to you 24/7 through WebLink View. And storage works on its own here too, no fulfillment required: see Warehousing & Storage .
Can you handle kitting and fulfillment together?
Yes — they share a building and a team. Subscription boxes, bundles, and gift sets get built in the kitting area and move straight into fulfillment, with no transfer truck and no second receiving. See Kitting & Assembly .
Where are you located?
We're in La Vergne, TN — 0.6 miles from I-24 and about 20 minutes from downtown Nashville — fulfilling orders for clients across Middle Tennessee and shipping nationwide.
Tell us what you ship.
Channels, monthly volume, SKU count — whatever you know so far. We'll come back with how we'd run it and what it costs.
